Opening Night

Opening Night of For the blind man in the dark room looking for the black cat that isn’t there is on September 11, 2009 from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm.

There will also be special preview for members of the Contemporary beginning 6:00 pm.

Bring family and friends to the Contemporary on Opening Night to be among the first to view this new exhibition and mingle with international artists. There will be a cash bar and valet will be available.

Admission to Opening Night is free throughout the entire evening.

Various cultural institutions in St. Louis are pairing up for this special happy hour event in the emerging arts district of Chouteau's Landing.

There will be interactive art stations from the Saint Louis Art Museum and the Missouri Botanical Garden, a live circus performance from Circus Flora, living history performers from the Missouri History Museum, a behind-the-scenes video from Opera Theatre of Saint Louis, cultural performances from the International Institute and more!
