ArtLink has a Facebook Page

Hello, ArtLinkers –

Did you know that ArtLink has a Facebook Page and a Facebook Group?  For those of you who are already on Facebook, you can click through to our profile and add ArtLink as your friend.  Then you will receive updates about our St. Louis art events in your Facebook newsfeed.

You can also join the ArtLink group on Facebook, where you can see the events we are hosting, and post messages for other ArtLink members.

Bourbon & Blues this Saturday at COCA!

Hey ArtLink Members -

Shake off the late winter blues this Saturday night, March 1st, as COCA and ArtLink host COCAloco: Bourbon & Blues! Headlining the event will be Marquise Knox, the St. Louis blues prodigy who, at age 16, is already being compared to the likes of Muddy Waters

Marquise KnoxThe evening includes Knob Creek Bourbon cocktails, a menu of down home favorites, a performance by the student dance company COCAdance, and a chance to win prizes, including a weekend getaway for two to the celebrated blues city, Memphis, Tennessee!

Tickets are $40 in advance ($35 for COCA and ArtLink members) and $50 at the door.

Wednesday, February 27 - ArtLink Wine and Cheese at the Contemporary.  This is a members-only event exclusively for ArtLink members!  Meet the winners of the 2008 Great Rivers Biennial while you mingle with other young friends.  Tickets? They are FREE with your ArtLink Membership!

Saturday, March 1 - COCAloco: Bourbon and Blues.  Join ArtLink and the COCA Associates at this annual Young Friends fundraiser for COCA.  Listen to blues prodigy Marquise Knox at this year's annual event.  Tickets are $35 for ArtLink members, $40 General Public

Saturday, March 8 - The Dada Ball and the Dada Ball After Party.  Every other year the Contemporary hosts the most outrageous party in St. Louis.  Join ArtLink at the Young Friends after party, beginning at 9:00.  Tickets to the after party are $25 for ArtLink members, and $35 General Public.  Are you feeling like a VIP?  VIP tickets include an open bar and private lounge.  They are $65 for ArtLink members, and $75 General Public.

You're Invited to COCA Tonight!

Hey ArtLink Members! Tonight is the opening night of The Orange Girls production of The Road to Mecca. Please join us at COCA for an 8:00p show and then stick around for a complimentary reception with The Orange Girls themselves as well as The Road to Mecca cast members after the performance!

The Road to Mecca is a beautifully wrought drama which invites audiences to transport themselves to a remote South African village and discover, with its three characters, the creative and inspiring role a woman can play in the world, irrespective of her age.

Deborah Aschheim: Reconsider opens Saturday at Laumeier

Deborah Aschheim's mesmerizing exhibition, Reconsider, opens this Saturday, February 9, with a free public reception from 5-7 PM.  This show explores why we remember what we see and hear and why we forget while offering a multi-sensory solution to curb the "forgetting curve."  Deborah_aschheim Join us for opening night of the Deborah Aschheim: Reconsider exhibition and enjoy complimentary appetizers and drinks while mingling with ArtLinkers, friends, and the artist.
