ArtLink and Select Night in the St. Louis Post-Dispatch

With all the excitement  about the big snowstorm, you might have missed the news that ArtLink and Select Night were written up in today's St. Louis Post-Dispatch.

The article includes the basics about Select Night (first Thursday of every month) as well as about the artists currently on display at the Contemporary, who you can see at the Select Night next Thursday.

Select Night - The Last one of 2006

The final Select Night of 2006 will be held at the Contemporary Art Museum St. Louis on Thursday, December 7 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.

Admission is free, and Budweiser Select is yours for a donation of just $2.

And as at all the previous Select Nights, the Bud Select is free with your ArtLink membership!  (Heck - you do the math!)

So don't miss this one - we're deep in the heart of the Holiday season, so this Select Night is sure to be a good one!

New Website Features

Hi, ArtLinkers -

It's been a bit quiet this month, so we've taken the time to do a bit of housekeeping on the website.

We have migrated our ArtLink online calendar to a new provider, Eventful. You can now see the upcoming events on this website (see the right-hand margin), or on the Eventful site at http://eventful.com/groups/G0-001-000131498-1

Moving to Eventful also gave us a chance to start putting this year's big ArtLink events on the calendar.  Be sure to pencil those dates in!

We've added a new customized Google Site Search feature, which we are working the kinks out of.  It searches the ArtLinkSTL blog as well as the websites of our three affiliated organizations.

We are still using Zookoda for our email list, and it's generally working fairly well.  Although there are a few Yahoo Mail addresses that bounce the Zookoda emails for some reason...  So if you have a Yahoo email address and you are not receiving the email update, that could be why.

And finally, we are reaching out to other St. Louis arts websites and blogs, to ask them to help us spread the word about ArtLink.  If you can give us a link, we would welcome the support!
