Laumeier Sculpture Park is pleased to announce the concert lineup for the 2006 Budweiser True Music Festival at LOMA. This year's eclectic music mix includes performances from Dark Star Orchestra, The Cowboy Junkies, Shelby Lynne, Peter Mayer Group and Jonathan Cour. The autumn weekend of music and world-class art in a natural setting will build on the success of last year's inaugural event, which attracted more than 8,000 people to Laumeier Sculpture Park.

Select Night at the Contemporary - Aug 3

My dear ArtLink comrades, a new month has rolled in, bringing a new Select Night to the calendar!  Come and check out the Contemporary this Thursday (August 3) for the latest and greatest installation of Select Nights.  This month we feature a fusion of R&B and Latin themes -- from the beats spun (by DJ C-Beyond) to the moves made (by Viva Flamenco and Jennifer Thompson) and video footage (by VJ Ryan Wylie). And you, ArtLink member, will once again receive a wristband for free drinks.  Any friends joining ArtLink during the evening will receive a wristband as well!

The evening starts at 6pm and wraps-up at 9, with drinks by Budweiser Select, food by Wolfgang Puck, and free admission, courtesy of the Contemporary. Guests must be 21 or older to enter. Upcoming Select Nights at the Contemporary include October 5, November 2, December 7.
